Termination rate by position: For today’s report, we decided to take a look and see if certain positions were more volatile when it comes to agent terminations. We compiled the total terminations since 2003 (since we’ve been compiling them) and compared them, by position, to the positional percentage of total players in the NFL (as of mid-January).
The results were interesting, with five positions leading the way with a greater percentage of terminations by position than the corresponding percentage of total NFL players by position.
